SERVICE INFORMATION

This Pitstop contains information related to Daylight Saving Time Settings in UVO head units.

If GPS time is "ON," the Daylight Saving Time Setting is a manual feature and GPS will not automatically determine if the vehicle is in an area that utilizes Daylight Saving Time and automatically adjust the time. At the start of the Daylight Saving Time period in the Spring when clocks are moved forward one (1) hour, it is necessary to turn the Daylight Time Saving feature "ON" or to select the Daylight Time Saving feature and clocks will be moved forward one (1) hour (from the GPS time or current time that the clock was showing).

Consequently, at the end of the Daylight Saving Time period in the Fall, when clocks are moved back one (1) hour, it is necessary to turn the Daylight Saving Time feature "OFF" or to remove selection of the feature to adjust the time back one (1) hour.
