Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the liftgate trim.

    (Refer to " TAIL GATE TRIM  ") 

  3. Disconnect the power liftgate latch connector (A) and power closing unit connector (B).

  4. Loosen the power liftgate latch (A) mounting bolts.

  5. Loosen the power closing unit (A) mounting nuts.

  6. Remove the power liftgate latch & power closing unit (A).
