Repair Procedures: Inspection
- Disconnect the cruise control switch connector from the control switch.
- Measure resistance between terminals on the control switch when each function switch is ON (switch is depressed).
Function switch Terminal Resistance (±5%) CANCEL 3 - 5 390 Ω SET - 3 - 5 610 Ω RES + 3 - 5 910 Ω CRUISE ON/OFF 3 - 5 1.38 kΩ Speed Limit 3 - 5 2.13 kΩ ASCC 3 - 5 3.63 kΩ - If not within specification, replace switch.
