Repair Procedures: Installation

- Install the STG spindle assembly.
- Connect the STG spindle connector.
- Install the tail gate pillar trim.
- Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
CAUTION:
- When assembling the STG spindle drive to the ball socket, listen for a "click" sound to make sure that it is firmly assembled.
- After assembling the STG Spindle drive to the ball socket, check the socket clip if it is firmly assembled or not. (the clip should not protrude from the socket.)
- After assembling the STG Spindle drive, make sure that the grommet on the body side is firmly assembled.
