Monitor DTC Status

  1. Connect the GDS and select "System" → "BCM" → "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)".
  2. Click the "DTC Status" to check the DTC information.
  3. Read the "DTC Status" parameter, and Record all DTCs, DTC state and freeze frame data.

  4. Is the same DTC set again?

    YES 

    NO 

    • This can be BCM* memory was not cleared after repair.

      → Erase the DTCs, and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.

    • This can be an intermittent fault caused by Poor Contact in Rear Right Sensor*'s and/or BCM*'s connector.

      → Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.

      → Repair or replace the harness/connector as necessary, and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.

    NOTE: Rear Right Sensor*: "PARKING DISTANCE WARNING REVERSE RH"
    BCM*: "BCM"
