Component Inspection

- Turn "OFF" the ignition switch.
- Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
- Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" mode.
- Using a GDS, Clear DTC.
- Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" mode again.
- Are any DTCs present?
YES
- Replace it with a new ESP (ESC) and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, place the new ESP (ESC) and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
NO
- Fault can be intermittent, caused by faulty ESP (ESC). Or, ESP (ESC) memory was not cleared after repair. go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
NOTE: * In a case of replacing ESP (ESC), perform following functions
