Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
Put on gloves to protect your hands.
NOTE:
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver or using a prying trim tool, wrap protective tape around the tool and related parts to prevent damage.
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
- Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Remove the console upper cover (A) by using a remover.
- Disconnect the console tray connectors (A).
- Remove the Center console garnish (A) by using a remover.
- Disconnect the heater & A/C control unit connector (A).
- Remove the console tray (A) by using a remover.
- Disconnect the console tray connectors (A).
- Remove the console side cover (A).

- Remove the console storage box (A).
- Remove the console tray mat (A).
- Loosen the console mounting bolts (A).
- Remove the SBW shifter lever.
(Refer to Automatic - "SHIFT LEVER ")
- After loosening the mounting screws and bolts, remove the floor console assembly (A).
- Disconnect the floor console main connector (A).
- To install, reverse removal procedure.
Information
- Make sure the connector is connected properly.
- Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
