Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION: Put on gloves to protect your hands.
NOTE:
  • When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver or using a prying trim tool, wrap protective tape around the tool and related parts to prevent damage.
  • Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
  • Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Remove the console upper cover (A) by using a remover.

  2. Disconnect the console tray connectors (A).

  3. Remove the Center console garnish (A) by using a remover.

  4. Disconnect the heater & A/C control unit connector (A).

  5. Remove the console tray (A) by using a remover.

  6. Disconnect the console tray connectors (A).

  7. Remove the console side cover (A).

  8. Remove the console storage box (A).

  9. Remove the console tray mat (A).

  10. Loosen the console mounting bolts (A).

  11. Remove the SBW shifter lever.

    (Refer to Automatic - "SHIFT LEVER ")

  12. After loosening the mounting screws and bolts, remove the floor console assembly (A).

  13. Disconnect the floor console main connector (A).

  14. To install, reverse removal procedure.

    Information 

    • Make sure the connector is connected properly.
    • Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
