Repair Procedures: Replacement

  1. Remove the engine and transmission assembly.

    (Refer to Engine and Transmission Assembly - "ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY ")

  2. Remove the automatic transmission.

    (Refer to Automatic Transmission System - "AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ")

  3. Remove the adapter plate (A) and the drive plate (B).

    Tightening torque: 

    71.6 - 75.5 N.m (7.3 - 7.7 kgf.m, 52.8 - 55.7 lb.ft)

  4. Remove the crankshaft adapter (A).

  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
