Repair Procedures: Replacement

Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
Remove the front wheel and tire.
(Refer to Suspension System - "WHEEL ")
Remove the front wheel guard.
(Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "FRONT WHEEL GUARD ")
Disconnect the wheel speed sensor connector (A) and wiring.

Remove the wheel speed sensor wiring bracket bolts.
Tightening torque:

Bolt (A):

8.8 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb.ft)

Bolt (B):

6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf.m, 5.1 - 8.0 lb.ft)

Remove the front wheel speed sensor (A).
Tightening torque:

7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)

Install in the reverse order of removal.
