Repair Procedures: Replacement

[Tailgate upper trim]
CAUTION:
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Take care not to scratch the body surface.
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the tailgate upper trim (A).
- To install, reinstall in reverse order of removal procedure.
Information
Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
[Tailgate side trim]
CAUTION:
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Take care not to scratch the body surface.
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the tailgate upper trim (A).
- After loosening the mounting screws, remove the tailgate side trim (A).
- To install, reinstall in reverse order of removal procedure.

NOTE:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Take care not to scratch the body surface.
- Remove the tailgate upper & side trim.
(Refer to Tailgate - "TAILGATE TRIM ")
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the tailgate handle cover (A).
- After loosening the mounting screws and fastener remove the tailgate lower trim (A).
- To install, reinstall in reverse order of removal procedure.
