Repair Procedures: Replacement

[General Mirror]

CAUTION: Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

Loosen the mounted screw and push the mirror base upward to remove the mirror assembly (A).
Tightening torque:

1.5 - 2.0 N.m (0.15 - 0.2 Kgf.m, 1.1 - 1.4 lb.ft, 13.0 - 17.4 lb.in)

To install, reinstall in reverse order of removal procedure.

[ECM Mirror]

CAUTION: Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

Remove the ECM mirror cover (A).

Disconnect the ECM mirror connector (A).

Loosen the mounted screw and push the ECM mirror base upward to remove the ECM mirror assembly (A).
Tightening torque:

1.5 - 2.0 N.m (0.15 - 0.2 Kgf.m, 1.1 - 1.4 lb.ft, 13.0 - 17.4 lb.in)

- Make sure the connector is connected properly.
- Be careful not to damage the windshield glass.
