Repair Procedures: Removal

Before removing the driver side seat assembly, adjust to the full upwards position, by pushing the front height adjusting switch (A).

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal
Remove the driver seat assembly.
(Refer to Body - "FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY ")
Loosen the IMS unit mounting screws.

Disconnect the IMS module connectors (B) and then remove the IMS unit (A).
