Repair Procedures: Replacement

  1. Remove the rear door window glass.

    (Refer to Rear Door - "REAR DOOR WINDOW GLASS ")

  2. After loosening the mounting bolts, remove the rear door channel (A)

    Tightening torque 

    Bolt: 7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 Kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)

    Nut: 7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 Kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)

  3. Disconnect the rear door main wiring connector (A).

  4. After loosening the mounting bolts, remove the rear door module (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 Kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)

  5. Disconnect the Rear door latch connector (A).

  6. Disconnect the Rear door main wiring (A).

  7. Remove the rear door module (B) from the inside handle cable (A) by pulling it in the direction of the arrow

  8. Disconnect the connectors and rear door module wiring harness (A).

  9. Remove the rear speaker.

    (Refer to Body Electrical System - "SPEAKERS ")

  10. Remove the rear power window motor.

    (Refer to Body Electrical System - "POWER WINDOW MOTOR ")

  11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
