Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Release the residual pressure in fuel line.

    (Refer to " RELEASE RESIDUAL PRESSURE  ") 

  2. Remove the intake manifold.

    (Refer to "Removal And Installation ")

  3. Remove the injector foam (A).

  4. Remove the high pressure fuel pipe.

    (Refer to " High Pressure Fuel Pipe [High Pressure Fuel Pump ↔ Delivery Pipe]  ") 

  5. Remove the delivery pipe and injector (A) by removing the bolts.

    Tightening torque: 

    24.5 - 27.5 N.m (2.5 - 2.8 kgf.m, 18.1 - 20.3 lb.ft)

  6. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor #1 connector (A).

  7. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor #2 connector (A).

  8. Disconnect the injector connectors (A) and rail pressure sensor connector (B).

  9. Remove the wiring fixing clips (A).

  10. Remove the injector (A) from the delivery pipe.

  11. Remove the rail pressure sensor (A) from the delivery pipe.

    Tightening torque: 

    29.5 - 32.3 N.m (3.0 - 3.5 kgf.m, 21.7 - 25.3 Ib.ft)
