Repair Procedures: Installation

CAUTION: The accumulator is charged with high-pressure nitrogen gas inside, so the gas must be removed before disposing the accumulator.

Drill a 3 mm (0.1181 in.) diameter hole in the hexagon nut area [center 10 - 20 mm (0.3937 - 0.7874)] by using the fixed drill (do not use hand drill) to remove the gas.
In the event of a gas eruption, metal dust can be blown away, so protective equipment such as safety glasses and earplugs should be worn.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
Perform the "Line Pressure Remove mode exit" procedure by using the KDS.
