System Inspection
Inspection Procedure
- ■ Intake and exhaust system inspection
- Check the damage, breakage and poor connection of the vacuum hose.
- Check the throttle body gasket damaged or not.
- Check the gasket between the intake manifold and the cylinder head.
- Check the injector leaks.
- Check the leakage between the oxygen sensor and catalyst.
- ■ Concerned sensors inspection
- Ensure that the oxygen sensor is installed correctly. (Check the wire is not in contact with the exhaust pipe)
- Check for contamination of the oxygen sensor. An abnormal value can be output due to contamination.
- Check the contamination/performance deterioration or connector poor connection and damage to the intake air quantity sensor wire.
- Check that the signal is proportional to changes in the throttle position sensor and the acceleration pedal signal.
- Check that the ground state of the ECM is good.
- ■ The positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) system inspection
- Check the engine oil level.
- Check for damage to the PCV valve.
- Check that the plunger is moving.
- ■ Fuel lines inspection
- Check the fuel filter clogged.
- Check the fuel level normal.
- Check the low-pressure fuel supply line leakage and clogged.
- Measure the fuel pressure on engine idle.

- ■ Ignition system inspection
- Measure resistance of the injector

Good
- Fault might be intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and control module memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
No Good
- Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
