Repair Procedures: Removal

CAUTION:
  • Handling wireless charging system parts by wet hands may cause electric shock.
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  • When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver or use a prying trim tool, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. To remove the gear knob (A) and gear boots (B), pull them up altogether.

  3. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the floor console upper cover (A).

  4. Disconnect the connectors (A) from the floor console upper cover.

  5. Disconnect the wireless power charging unit connector (A).

  6. Remove the wireless power charging unit (B) by pressing the fixing hooks (A).
CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the fixing hooks.
