Repair Procedures: Removal

Release the residual pressure in fuel line.
(Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "RELEASE RESIDUAL PRESSURE IN FUEL LINE ").

NOTE: When removing the fuel pump relay, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) may occur. Delete the code with the KDS after completion of "Release Residual Pressure in Fuel Line" work.
Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
Disconnect the injector connector (A).
Remove the fuel feed tube (B) after loosening the mounting nuts.
Tightening torque :

3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb.ft, 34.5 - 52.2 lb.in)

Remove the delivery pipe & injector assembly (B) after loosening the mounting bolts (A).
Tightening torque :

18.6 - 23.5 N.m (1.9 - 2.4 kgf.m, 13.7 - 17.4 lb.ft)

Remove the injector (B) from the delivery pipe (C) after removing the fixing clip (A).
