Repair Procedures: Removal

1. Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.

   (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "AUXILIARY BATTERY ")

2. Remove the turbo manifold module.

   (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "TURBO MANIFOLD MODULE ")

3. Remove the intercooler inlet pipe bracket (A) by removing the bolts.

4. Remove the retaining ring (A) from the Electric Waste Gate Actuator (EWGA) rod.

5. Remove the rod (A) from the EWGA.

6. Remove the EWGA (A) by removing the bolts.

   Tightening torque  :

   12.7 - 13.7 N.m (1.3 - 1.4 kgf.m, 9.4 - 10.1 lb.ft)

Installation 

1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
