Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
    NOTE: After disconnecting the cables, wait at least 30 seconds.
  2. While turning the steering wheel to left and right, press the parts marked A (2 red dotted circles) under the steering wheel and then remove the airbag module (B).

  3. Disconnect the horn connector (A) and airbag module connector (B).

    CAUTION: The removed airbag module should be stored in a clean, dry place with the pad cover facing up.
