Repair Procedures: Reassembly

Install the insulator, strut bearing, spring pads, coil spring and dust cover to the strut assembly.
Compress and extend the piston rod (A) and check that there is no abnormal resistance or unusual sound during operation.

Using the special tool (09546-3X100), install the self locking nut.
NOTE:
- Do not reuse the self locking nut.
Tightening torque:

98.0 - 107.8 N.m (10.0 - 11.0 kgf.m, 72.3 - 79.6 lb-ft)

Install the insulator dust cover (A).
