Repair Procedures: Replacement: Removal

CAUTION: Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

NOTE: Use seat covers to avoid damaging any surfaces.

Remove the rear pillar trim and gate pillar trim.
(Refer to Interior Trim - "REAR PILLAR TRIM ")
Loosen the quarter fixed glass mounting nuts.
Tightening torque:

3.9 - 4.4 N.m (0.4 - 0.45 kgf.m, 2.9 - 3.3 lb.ft, 34.7 - 39.1 lb.in)

Cut out the quarter fixed glass sealant using the utility knife.
NOTE: Do not scrape down to the painted surface of the body as bonding strength may get diminished on damaged paint.

Information
- Remove the rubber dam and fasteners from the body.
- Mask off surrounding surfaces before painting.
Remove the quarter fixed glass (A).
