Repair Procedures: Removal: Battery

Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Remove the air duct (A) after separating the clip.

Remove the negative (-) terminal cover (A).

Disconnect the negative (-) terminal (A) and disconnect the positive (+) terminal (B).
Tightening torque:

8.0 - 10.0 N.m (0.8 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.9 - 7.4 lb.ft)

Remove the battery (A) after removing the mounting bracket by loosening the mounting bolt.
Tightening torque:

9.0 - 14.0 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.6 - 10.3 lb.ft)
