Fuel Sender: Inspection
- Remove the fuel pump module.
(Refer to Engine Control/Fuel System - "FUEL PUMP MODULE ")
- Put the float of the fuel sender at the top and bottom positions and measure the resistance between terminals 1 and 3 of the fuel pump connector (A).
Terminal Function 1 Fuel Sender (+) 2 - 3 Fuel Sender (-) 4 Fuel Pump (+) 5 Fuel Pump (-) - Compare the measured resistance with the specification below.
