Removal And Installation: Installation
- Install in the reverse order of removal.NOTE:
- Do not reuse the delivery pipe mounting bolt.
- When installing the intake manifold & low pressure delivery pipe, pre-tighten the mounting bolts and then tighten.
Tightening torque
Pre - tighten: 3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb.ft, 34.7 - 52.1 lb.in)
Tighten: 18.6 - 23.5 N.m (1.9 - 2.4 kgf.m, 13.7 - 17.3 lb.ft)
- Tight the bolt in the order (1→2→3→2→1) for preventing to lean while installing the high pressure delivery pipe.

- Replace the high & low pressure fuel pipe with a new one. (Do not reuse)
- Be careful not to damage the injector tip, when installing injector module assembly.
- Note the below text, when the injector is installed in delivery pipe.
Low pressure injector
- Replace the parts with new one, when reusing the injector.
- O-ring
- Clip
- Apply engine oil to the O-ring.
High pressure injector
- Remove the contaminant when the contaminant go into the cylinder and intake manifold.
- Be careful not to enter the contaminent into the cylinder when removing/reinstalling injector.
- Clean the carbon in head hole using the brush when removing/reinstalling injector.
- Replace the parts with new one by removing the fixing ring (F) and using the HDEV 6 tool kit, when removing/reinstalling injector. (The special tool (HDEV 6 tool kit) can be purchased from BOSCH.)
