Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Perform the oil pressure characteristics backup procedure using the KDS when replacing with a new TCM.
    1. Click the "Oil-pressure Characteristics Back-Up And Input (TCU replacement)".

    2. Check the condition and then click the "OK".

    3. Click the "Back-Up".

  2. Remove the IBU unit.

    (Refer to Body Electrical System - "INTEGRATED BODY CONTROL UNIT (IBU) ")

  3. Remove the SVM unit.

    (Refer to Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) - "SURROUND VIEW MONITOR (SVM) ")

  4. Disconnect the TCM connector (A).

  5. Remove the TCM (A) after removing the nuts.

    Tightening torque: 

    9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
