Repair Procedure: Removal
- Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Remove the steering column upper and lower shrouds.
(Refer to Body - "STEERING COLUMN SHROUD PANEL ")
- Remove the electronic steering column lock (A) by loosening the mounting bolts after disconnecting the connector (B).
Tightening torque: 6.9 - 16.6 Nm (0.7 - 1.6 kgf.m, 5.0 - 12.2 lb.ft)
