Removal And Installation: Removal

WARNING:

When working on the high voltage system, the work should be performed by technicians who have completed the relevant training. A lack of understanding of the high voltage system can lead to serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
When working on the high voltage system or related components, be sure to observe and be aware of the "Safety Precautions, Cautions and Warnings". If not, it may cause serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit. Refer to HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEM GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION AND CAUTION
When working on the high voltage system, make sure to check the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and high voltage shut-off procedure. Refer to HIGH VOLTAGE SHUT-OFF PROCEDURES

Remove the high voltage junction box.
(Refer to High Voltage Distributing System - " HIGH VOLTAGE JUNCTION BOX ")
Disconnect the inverter connector (A).

Separate the Electric Water Pump (EWP) bracket (A) by removing the nut.
Tightening torque:

6.9 - 9.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.1 - 7.2 lb.ft, 60.8 - 86.8 lb.in)

Separate the water hose (A) by releasing the quick connector.

Remove the wiring bracket (A) by removing the bolt.
Tightening torque:

6.9 - 9.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.1 - 7.2 lb.ft, 60.8 - 86.8 lb.in)

Remove the inverter terminal service cover (A) by removing the bolts.
Tightening torque:

4.0 - 5.8 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb.ft, 34.7 - 52.0 lb.in)

Remove the inverter terminal bolts (A).
Tightening torque:

6.9 - 9.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.1 - 7.2 lb.ft, 60.8 - 86.8 lb.in)

Remove the inverter assembly (A) after removing the bolts.
Tightening torque:

4.0 - 5.8 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb.ft, 34.7 - 52.0 lb.in)
