Removal & Installation: Removal

WARNING: When working on high voltage system or related components, be sure to be familiar with and comply with the "HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEM GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION AND CAUTION ." Failure to comply can lead serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.

NOTE: Cover the connection with a clean cloth since the residual fuel may be released after "Release Residual Pressure in Fuel Line" procedures.

Release the residual pressure in fuel line.
(Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "RELEASE RESIDUAL PRESSURE IN FUEL LINE ")
Remove the rear seat assembly.
(Refer to Body - "REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY ")
Remove the service cover (A).

Disconnect the connectors
1. Fuel Pressure Sensor (FPS) connector
2. Fuel Pump Control Module (FPCM) connector
3. Fuel feed tube

Remove the plate cover (A) by using the SST (09310 - B8100).
