Description And Operation: Description: Notes
The hybrid control system consists of the engine (ECM), transmission (TCM), high voltage battery (BMS), hybrid drive motor (MCU), low voltage direct current converter (LDC), centering on the hybrid control unit (HCU), which is a control module for controlling the entire hybrid system. It is connected with each system's control module and CAN communication. In addition to this, the HCU uses signals such as a brake switch for system control.
NOTE:
CAN communication line is divided into hybrid CAN line and powertrain CAN line.
The HCU controls power & torque distribution of the engine and motor, regenerative brake, and fail-safe mode based on vehicle information, driver's demand, engine information and high voltage battery information.
