Locking Doors
Vehicle status: All doors are unlocked and IG OFF.
- The user presses the door lock button on the door handle.
- The IBU (Integrated Body Control Unit) uses the antenna on the door handle to find the smart key.
- The smart key transmits a response signal and data to the IBU.NOTE: IBU (with smart key system function) can verify smart keys within 0.7 - 1 m (2.2 - 3.2 ft.) from the door handle
- The IBU transmits a door lock signal to the ICU via the CAN communication line.
- After receiving the door lock signal, the ICU executes all doors lock operations.
NOTE:
- Door lock/unlock by smart key is possible only when all doors are closed.
- When the door locked by the smart key, the door cannot be opened with the smart key for 3 seconds.
