SITUATION

NOTE: Remote audio system switches NOT functioning.

The remote steering wheel mounted Audio System switches on some Range Rovers may not work properly (e g, volume increases when the volume decrease switch is pressed).

RESOLUTION

NOTE: Replace audio system switches.

A new style Audio System switch assembly has been introduced. This new style switch incorporates micro switches instead of carbon switches for improved operational feel and better durability. In order to resolve the customer complaints, the audio system remote switches should be replaced if there is evidence of the switches working improperly.
