SITUATION
OIL PRESSURE SWITCH LEAKING
Failure of the oil pressure switch leads to oil leakage.
RESOLUTION
NEW DESIGN OIL PRESSURE SWITCH
To eliminate oil leakage, a new oil pressure switch with a new material O-ring has been developed. The new design switch is to be installed in vehicles that have oil leakage from the oil pressure switch. The new switch is supplied with a new O-ring installed. A copper crush washer is also included for use on older (V-belt equipped) engines.
