Power Door Locks & Keyless Entry Systems: Description

Central locking system allows all doors and tailgate to be locked and unlocked using door switch, driver's door key switch or remote transmitter. A superlocking feature allows doors to remain locked, even if door switch is moved to unlock position. A lazy locking feature enables driver to close any open glass panel (window or sun roof) from outside vehicle using door key or transmitter.

Central locking and remote keyless entry systems include the "C" type latches on passenger doors, key switch on driver's door, tailgate and fuel filler flap locking actuators, and radio frequency remote key.

Vehicles may be locked in 6 different ways: door switch locking, slam locking, key locking, key superlocking, remote locking and remote superlocking.
