Piston Pin Replacement
- Note piston-to-rod orientation before removing piston from connecting rod. Piston pin fit in connecting rod is a press fit. Using Piston Pin Press (LRT-12-013) and Piston Adapter (LRT-12-014), press piston pin in according to manufacturer's instructions.
- Using a torque wrench set to 12 ft. lbs. (16 N.m), and socket on large nut, pull piston pin into piston and rod assembly. If torque figure is not achieved during entire operation, replace piston pin or rod as necessary.
