Fuel Pump/Sender Unit: Installation

1. To install, insert fuel pump/sender unit into tank. Install retaining ring and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . See Fig 2 . Connect fuel lines to pump. Connect electrical connector. When fuel system has been reassembled check all fuel pipes, sealing rings and hose connections are secure.
2. Run engine to check for fuel leaks before final assembly. Inspect access panel seal, install a new seal if necessary. Install access panel and secure to floor with screws. Reverse operations to refit sound insulation and carpet.
