Lazy Locking Mode

Lazy locking or all close mode enables the driver to close any open window and/or sunroof from outside the vehicle using either the key or the remote transmitter. Lazy locking can be carried out either when locking or superlocking the vehicle, or when the vehicle is already in a locked state.

To activate lazy locking ensure that doors, hood and tailgate are properly closed. Turn key to lock position one time (2 times if superlocking) and hold or press remote transmitter lock button one time (2 times if superlocking) and hold until all windows and sunroof are closed. Open windows will close simultaneously. An open sunroof will close when all windows have closed. Lazy locking will operate in a dead man's handle mode. Windows and sunroof will only close for as long as key is held in the lock position, or the lock button is pressed on remote transmitter. Failure of any window or sunroof to be fully closed when key or button is released will result in a mislock. See MISLOCK  .
