SITUATION
SPECIFICATION FOR VEHICLE FLUIDS
Because of the unique nature and limited availability of some Land Rover fluids and lubricants, confusion regarding fluid specifications and applications can exist. The current listing contains a number of brand names and several Land Rover-specific fluids with part numbers.
NOTE:
Recently Land Rover has announced increased cooperation with Castrol. In the future, Castrol product names will become the recommended or required fluids and lubricants used on Land Rover vehicles.
RESOLUTION
USE CORRECT FLUIDS FOR ALL SYSTEMS
The table of applications and the part number listings are provided to ensure use of the correct fluid specification.
