Range Rover

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2000 Land Rover Range Rover, 2000 Land Rover Discovery, 1999 Land Rover Range Rover, and 1999 Land Rover Discovery. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Cruise control is a electro-mechanical system which includes the cruise control Electronic Control Unit (ECU), ABS ECU, Body Electrical Control Module (BECU), system master on/off switch, SET+ switch, RES switch, 2 brake pedal switches, clutch pedal switch (M/T), vacuum pump, actuator, and neutral lock-out relay (A/T). There is also a cruise control converter/inverter module which transmits a signal to cruise control ECU to activate vacuum pump.

The cruise control will disengage automatically, if road speed decreases to less than 75 percent of the set speed (this could occur when towing uphill).
