Side Air Curtain Module: Removal

WARNING:
It is imperative that before any work is undertaken on the SRS system, the appropriate information is read thoroughly.
WARNING:
Always disconnect both battery cables before beginning work on the SRS system. Disconnect the ground cable first. Never reverse connect the battery.
NOTE:
If the SRS component is to be replaced, the bar code of the new unit must be recorded.
- Make the SRS system safe. Refer to Standard Workshop Practices article.
- Remove the headliner. Refer to Headliner article.
- Release the roof opening panel drain tube from the securing clips.
- Release the tire deflation wiring harness from securing clips.
- Remove the side air curtain module.
- Remove the 8 screws.
- Remove the 5 Torx screws.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
