CONDITION SUMMARY

SITUATION:

An issue has been identified on a limited number of vehicles within the listed Affected Vehicle Range may have been manufactured away from process and, in some cases, the air suspension system amber warning light may appear on the instrument cluster with one or more of the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) stored in the Chassis Control Module (CHCM): C1A3112, C1A3212, C1A3312, C1A3412, C1A3512, C1A3612, C1A3712, and/or C1A3812.

If the air suspension amber warning light illuminates, the vehicle may remain at its current height setting. If the DTC occurs at the 'offroad' height setting, a red warning light will illuminate if the vehicle speed exceeds 25mph/40km/h.

ACTION:

Retailers are required to HOLD  affected new vehicles that are within your control and refrain from releasing the vehicles for new vehicle sale  pending completion of the Service Instruction detailed in this Technical Bulletin. Unsold vehicles should have this performed as part of the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) process but must  have it completed prior to vehicle handover to the customer.
