SITUATION
JLR Engineering investigations have found that Retailers are replacing the Fuel Pump Driver Module (FPDM) when Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P025C-11 'Fuel Pump Module 'A' Control Circuit Low' is stored in the PCM. Replacing the FPDM does not permanently rectify the concern and the DTC may return in the future.
NOTE:
The FPDM should not be replaced when DTC P025C-11 or P1338-38 are stored in the PCM as this will not rectify the concern.
CAUSE
DTC P025C-11 and P1338-38 can be triggered by a concern associated with an electrical wiring harness/connector issues, other component issues, or software related issues.
ACTION
Refer to the service information below.

Rectify any electrical wiring harness/connector issues or other component issues as necessary.
- Clear all PCM DTCs and check for any re-occurrence of the DTCs following a short drive cycle.
- If there is no re-occurrence of the DTCs return the vehicle to the customer.
- If there were no issues found during diagnosis and the DTCs have returned raise a Technical Assistance (TA) to PTS_160 Engineering team for further support.
