SC300 & SC400

  1. Remove relay from relay block No. 2 on driver's side of engine compartment. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between relay terminals No. 1 and 3. See Fig 1. If continuity does not exist, replace relay. If continuity does exist, go to next step.

  2. Check for continuity between terminals No. 2 and 4. If continuity exists, replace relay. If continuity does not exist, go to next step.
  3. Connect battery voltage to relay terminal No. 1 and ground terminal No. 3. Continuity should now exist between relay terminals No. 2 and 4. If continuity does not exist, replace relay.
