Diagnostic Chart

  1. Check sub-throttle actuator. Disconnect sub-throttle actuator connector. Check continuity between terminals of sub-throttle actuator connector. Continuity should exist between terminals 1, 2 and 3 and between 4, 5 and 6. If actuator is not okay, replace sub-throttle actuator. If actuator is okay, go to next step.
  2. Check harness and connector between ABS & TRAC ECU and sub-throttle actuator. Repair or replace any faulty connectors or harnesses. If connectors are okay, check and replace ABS & TRAC ECU.
