Speed Sensor Circuit Input Signal Check

  1. Perform INPUT SIGNAL CHECK  under TROUBLE SHOOTING. Check cruise control indicator light while driving vehicle at speeds greater than and less than 25 MPH (40 Km/h).
  2. At speeds less than 25 MPH (40 Km/h), indicator light should stay on continuously. At speeds greater than 25 MPH (40 Km/h), indicator light should blink. If light operates as indicated, go to next inspection item shown on matrix chart. See Figure, Figure or Figure . If light does not operate as indicated, go to SPEEDOMETER/VEHICLE SPEED (4-PULSE) SIGNAL CHECK.
