- Remove the No. 1 speed sensor from transmission. See Figure and Figure. Connect voltmeter and battery to No. 1 speed sensor. See Fig 1 and Fig 2.
- Rotate shaft of No. 1 speed sensor. Note that voltage changes from battery voltage to less than 2 volts, 4 times per each shaft revolution. Replace No. 1 speed sensor if voltage does not change correctly.
