Diagnostic Code Output

  1. Locate Total Diagnostic Communication Link (TDCL) under left side of instrument cluster. Turn ignition on. Using Tester (09843-18020), connect terminals Tc and E1 of TDCL. See Fig 1.

  2. Read diagnostic code on CRUISE MAIN indicator light. See Figure. If a diagnostic code is not displayed, inspect diagnostic circuit. See DIAGNOSTIC (TC) CIRCUIT  under TESTING. If a diagnostic code is displayed, perform procedure indicated by the diagnostic codes chart. See TESTING.
  3. After completing diagnostic code check, disconnect terminals Tc and E1 and turn off the display. Clear diagnostic codes if necessary.
