Switch Continuity
- With wiper/washer switch off, continuity should exist between terminals No. 4 and 7 of 20-pin connector. See Fig 1. With wiper/washer switch in MIST position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 4 and 7, and between terminals No. 16 and 18 of 20-pin connector.

- With wiper switch in INT (intermittent) position and washer switch off, continuity should exist between terminals No. 4 and 7, and between terminals No. 14 and 16 of 20-pin connector. With wiper switch in INT position and washer switch in MIST position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 4 and 7, and between terminals No. 14, 16 and 18 of 20-pin connector.
- With wiper switch in LO position and washer switch off, continuity should exist between terminals No. 7 and 18 of 20-pin connector. With wiper switch in LO position and washer switch in MIST position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 7 and 18 of 20-pin connector.
- With wiper switch in HI position and washer switch off, continuity should exist between terminals No. 6 and 16, and between terminals No. 13 and 18 of 20-pin connector. With wiper switch in HI position and washer switch in MIST position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 6 and 16, and between terminals No. 13 and 18 of 20-pin connector.
- Press button at end of wiper/washer stalk, and check continuity between terminals No. 8 and 16 of 20-pin connector. Continuity should exist.
- Apply battery voltage to terminal No. 16 of 20-pin connector. Ground terminal No. 18. With wiper switch in OFF or INT position and washer switch in MIST position, continuity should be present between terminals No. 7 and 18 of 20-pin connector. If continuity is not as specified, replace wiper/washer switch.
