Motor Circuit
- Disconnect washer motor connector. Check wiring harness continuity. Press button at end of wiper/washer stalk, and check continuity between known good ground and terminal No. 1. See Figure. Ensure continuity exists. If continuity does not exist, trace and repair affected circuit.
- Check voltage between known good ground and terminal No. 2. Battery voltage should only be present when ignition is on. If battery voltage is not present with ignition on, check wiring harness, wiper switch or power source.
NOTE:
DO NOT test washer motor for more than 20 seconds, as washer motor may burn out.
