Throttle Body: Removal

- Disconnect negative battery cable. Drain cooling system. Remove battery clamp cover. Remove air cleaner cover, hose and air cleaner assembly. Remove throttle body cover.
- Disconnect throttle cable(s) from throttle linkage. Remove high tension wire upper cover. Disconnect vacuum hoses and electrical connectors as necessary. Disconnect coolant by-pass hoses from Idle Air Control (IAC) valve and throttle body. Disconnect PCV hose from throttle body. Remove nuts, bolts, throttle body and gasket.
